The hair, the sunnies, the colors, the red lips. This outfit just made me feel "retro fourth of july". I picked up this dres (on sale!) at Old Navy recently. I love the stripes and the eyelet detail on the top. Not to mention, the red details. I I definitely see myself wearing it out to dinner, for drinks, or just to run errands during the day this summer. I love a good summer dress, especially when the weather gets hot it's nice to just throw one piece and have an entire outfit made! Do you have a favorite summer dress? I would love to hear what your go to dress is for the summer! Cheers!
Happy Monday loves! I don't know about you, but I am lusting for summer like no other. While, the temps in STL aren't quite there yet, the sunshine and blooms are nodding towards warmer weather. School is starting to wind down, I can hardly believe the year is almost over! Where has the time gone? Just a year ago I was getting ready to graduate from the place I called home for four wonderful years. I had no idea what the future held for me, but this year has brought new friends, new endeavors, and lots of learning into my life. While I still don't know what this next year will bring, I am confident that it will all work out. Navigating your early twenties is not always easy. Life if always up in the air, but I am up for the adventure!
I have been inspired lately to wear lighter colors. I hadn't always been drawn to creams and blushes, but I am finding myself picking them up more and more when I am out shopping. This blush blouse it actually old and I'm sure you can't even count the number of times you had seen this denim jacket now. But I loved the way the all these lighter colors worked together. And can we talk about these killer flats? (When I say killer, I literally mean killer. They are what we can sitting shoes, since they hurt like cray cray) All in the name of fashion right? To top it off, I am learning to become a hat lady! I loved this cross between a fedora and a panama hat. The brim is not super wide, which I prefer. I can't wait to wear it throughout the summer. Cheers!

One of my favorite spring looks is a maxi skirt and denim jacket. It is a comfy, easy throw on and it always looks pulled together. I would have never guessed it, but I am really starting to like graphic tees (I feel like my inner 7th grader is coming out again). This C'est La Vie tee I got last summer at the Jcrew Factory store. It is no longer available, but there a bunch of great graphic tees out in stores right now. I styled up this look with my fave Kate Spade statement necklace and my new Tory Burch tote. What is your favorite spring look? Happy Weekend loves!
We have had some seriously gloomy weather this past week here in St. Louis. It has been rainy and dark, so I decided to match my outfit to the weather. I pulled out all my shades of grey and wore them all at once! I just got this great summer cardi from Brandy Melville in the mail earlier this week. It's lightweight and 100% cotton so its perfect for spring and those chilly summer nights. I paired it with an old silk tank from Nordstrom (I've tagged a couple similar ones at the bottom) and my black Gap jeans and there you have it!
But now, onto the star of the star of the show: my new Tory Burch Buckle Tote. Please pause while I squeal like a little girl. ahhhhhhh!! Ok, now that I got that out of my system. I am super excited about this bag. I have had my eye on it for a while and its my first black bag. (I know crazy right?) I normally go for brown, but I already have a couple brown purses so I opted for brown's cooler older sister, black. Hope that the rain is not getting you down this week. April showers bring may flowers! #cliche Thanks for reading loves!
